Nam June Paik Art Center in 2020 developed the AR exhibition guide with augmented reality technology, for 35 works from the Nam June Paik Art Center’s collection.

The team created and directed all animation works in order to deliver the message and educational information for the viewers. Making creative AR animation for the museum pieces of Nam June Paik required  profound communication with the Art center. With careful and thorough research, we succeeded in creating effective AR animations for the works of Paik.

This role involved close collaboration with museums and clients to streamline design processes, culminating in the successful completion of multiple projects alongside my colleagues. After each meeting, I dedicated myself to developing ideation, mood boards, storyboards, and motion graphics for each artwork.

This experience helped me gain a deep understanding of planning and implementing effective digital media for users. I worked with Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, and After Effects to create informative animations for the project. Collaboration with museums and client communication refined my design processes.
